ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This was the first time since 2005 that Gorillaz performed the entire Demon Days album live.
“Intro” was played fully live for the first time instead of being played from tape.
Several songs returned to the stage after more than a decade, including “All Alone” (last performed in 2006) and “November Has Come” (last performed in 2010).
The Demon Strings ensemble rejoined the live lineup, recreating the original album’s orchestral sound.
De La Soul, Bootie Brown, and Michelle Ndegwa appeared as guest performers, reprising their original roles from the album.
Damon Albarn addressed the audience before “Fire Coming Out of the Monkey’s Head,” dedicating the song to “our strange little world that still needs saving.”
The visuals projected behind the band were remastered versions of the 2005 Demon Days animations by Jamie Hewlett.
The encore featured four rare B-sides: “68 State,” “We Are Happy Landfill,” “Rockit,” and “Hong Kong,” making it a special addition beyond the album performance.
Fans described it as one of the most emotional and nostalgic nights of the entire Copper Box residency.
