ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The concert marked the beginning of the “House of Kong” residency, where Gorillaz performed their entire debut album live for the first time ever.

Miho Hatori (the original voice of Noodle) appeared on several tracks — “Re-Hash,” “5/4,” “19-2000,” and “Man Research (Clapper)”. It was her first live performance with Gorillaz in over two decades.

A live brass section, led by Chris Storr and James Copus, added new arrangements to “Rock the House” and “Latin Simone”.

“Double Bass” and “Ghost Train” were performed live for the first time in Gorillaz history.

Songs such as “Starshine,” “Slow Country,” “Sound Check (Gravity),” and “Man Research (Clapper)” were played for the first time since 2002.

The encore featured a special version of “Clint Eastwood” (“Re-fix”) with Sweetie Irie, ending the night with a high-energy, dancehall-style performance.

The visuals recreated the early 2000s Gorillaz aesthetic, showing updated HD versions of the original Kong Studios and animated band members.

Kid Koala opened the evening with a DJ set that blended samples, loops, and ambient sounds from the early Gorillaz era.

The stage design echoed the original 2001 album artwork, using comic-style panels, neon outlines, and silhouette projections of 2D, Murdoc, Noodle, and Russel.

Fans and critics described the show as a nostalgic, once-in-a-lifetime experience that revived the band’s early spirit with modern energy.

An official video of the performance was released by Gorillaz shortly after the event. You can see it by clicking here.
