The band has turned its back on international pop stardom, with our heroes now immersed in the rhythms of mystical music-making, as they navigate the mountainous terrain of this thing called life.

• Deluxe CD had a variation at the beginning of the sale, it was planned that the bonus CD would be a selection of live tracks taken from the Mystery Show, where the album was premiered in full in front of a live audience on September 3, 2025 in London, but December 12, 2025 was changed and new exclusive bonus tracks recorded during the making of the album will be added.
   

• ​On January 9, 2026, the Splatter Effect LP version was released as a limited edition by Bad World Records. The Zoetrope version was originally planned for release, but it was ultimately canceled at the last minute.
   

• On January 19, 2026, listening parties around the world were announced. These events will feature limited-edition white label copies of The Mountain, available for purchase exclusively at participating stores. Extremely limited quantities will be available at each event.
